The Stage is Set! What's the Story?
Did you ever think where some of the mind-bending scenes from your favorite Hollywood movies were actually shot? No? Yeah, me neither. But turns out, many prestigious Times Square hotels have served as shooting locations for several iconic films. It's like residing inside the cinematic universe, how cool is that? So, follow me as we take a stroll down our very own Hollywood Walk of Fame right here in Times Square!
Let's Unveil this Cinematic Spectacle!
The Marriott Marquis
Let's kick off our journey with none other than the majestic Marriott Marquis, which has been serving drama (on-screen!) since 1985. Our beloved Spider-Man, Peter Parker, swung into this iconic building in 'Spider-Man 3' (Rhyme intended!). And, in 'Maid in Manhattan', this is where Ralph Fiennes fell head over heels for Jennifer Lopez. Remember folks, love knows no boundaries... or room service!
The Algonquin Hotel
No Hollywood journey is complete without a bit of suspense, right? Well, that's what the Algonquin Hotel brings to the table, literally! Just recall 'The Sweet Smell of Success' and you would remember the tantalizing aroma of this place. Bet you didn't think your Sunday brunch could be so dramatic!
The Plaza Hotel
The Plaza Hotel has sheltered many of our screen heroes including F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Jay Gatsby and Kevin McCallister from the 'Home Alone 2'! Oh, and let’s not forget the countless stars who have hosted lavish parties here and made us twinge with envy at our plain old New Year’s parties!
A Walk Down Memory Lane
Let's face it, our fascination with Hollywood isn't just about high-speed chases, charismatic charmers and twisty plots. It’s also about those stunning backdrops that lure us into the scene. The true charm of these hotels lies in their rich history and bold architecture, transporting our on-screen superheroes into the heart of our beloved New York City. Now, after reading this, every corner of these grand hotels would remind you of a classic Hollywood shot. Don't say, I didn't warn you!
Remember, wherever you are, laughter adds seasoning so make sure you take it along every time you travel. See you folks next time, with another incredible chapter from the world of hotels.
